Think Pink - Table Decor

Hello and welcome to todays blog post which is on table decor. As the sun has started shining and we have had a couple of days of strong sunshine here in Ireland it has myself and others thinking of those summer colours and how bright and fresh everything looks in the summer sun. While sitting outside and looking around at the outside area of where I live it got me thinking about outdoor seating and the summer evenings spent dining al fresco and enjoying the cool evening sun with friends and family. So todays table decor idea is a sweet and simple summer pastel pink theme for drinks or light bites in the summer sun with friends in the garden or even al fresco barbecue dining. The colour of pink has many meanings and symbols like playfulness, harmony and affection. It is also a calming colour which is great for dining and guests as it creates a calm but fun ambiance.

The glassware selection here is an elegant and classy style but still able to be used for everyday. The wine glass is this beautiful and elegant conical shape perfect for summer Rosé or light white wines. The dinner set selected is also a simple but elegant design with the scalloped edges and the fact that it is a 12 piece set allows you to keep the design all the way through from starters to desserts of a meal or dinner set up. For a centre piece I have chosen pink roses as they represent joy, happiness and grace. The fact that the napkins and flowers are the only two pink pieces on the table really allows for the flowers to be the focal point and for the pink of the napkins to be minimal but eye catching against the white of the tablecloth.
